Morning shoot with Emi
It was a cloudy morning when Emi came over. She stepped in with such good energy, a little chaotic, but in a way that felt instantly endearing. I remember feeling both amused and fascinated, watching how her presence filled the room. We had a moodboard ready, with ideas and directions, but the more I observed her, the less I cared about sticking to a plan. At some point I just let it all go (the structure, the references) and allowed things to unfold on their own.
There was something about Emi, something raw and unfiltered, that made me want to keep the camera close and never stop shooting. It felt less like a session and more like a quiet dialogue between us, translated into frames…
We didn’t chase perfection that day. Just light, movement, and whatever truth decided to show up.
